Swing Gate Conveyors are ideal for use on long assembly lines where access to the other side of the line is required. mk Automation offers two different base styles of swing gate conveyors, both based on our GUF-P 2000 conveyor line.
Stand Alone Swing Gate
Our stand alone swing gate system is designed to be an addition to any assembly line. With lengths from 24 to 30 inches, and a variety of widths, we are sure to have a swing gate section to fit your needs. Our stand alone swing gate sections feature a solid diamond plate base with kick bar designed for running wiring or plumbing underneath. On this model the drive remains positioned under the conveyor and the entire conveyor rotates up 90°. A gas spring is used to assist the lift and lay of the conveyor. This conveyor features handles on both sides of the frame for easy access.
Line Incorporated Swing Gates
When you are looking at a longer conveyor line and require a small section to be a swing gate for line access, mk has the solution for you. We are able to add a section of conveyor to swing up to any of our standard GUF-P 2000 models. Designed at the tail end of the conveyor the swing gate section is fairly light. We can accommodate widths of up to 600 mm and swing gate lengths of up to 56-inches. A gas spring is used to assist the lift and loner of the gate. This conveyor also features handles on both sides of the frame for easy access. Because the swing gate portion of this conveyor is driven off the main line conveyor you are able to increase the open area under the swing gate when it is lifted.
