Glide Assemblies
Glide Assemblies are an inexpensive way to provide guided linear motion without the use of expensive cylinders or linear actuators. Combinations of multiple glide assemblies can provide large and complex linear movement when used with inexpensive pneumatic cylinders. Pneumatic glide system 2000 shown below can be used in pick and place applications, as a pusher or lift, etc.

Glide Assembly System 2000

Glide Assembly System 2000 consists of glide bushings mounted to structural profile mk 2000 (50 x 50 mm), as well as an appropriate guide shaft (rod).

Length: 50 - 750 mm
Guide Shaft Options: 12 or 16mm round, 16mm square

The Glide Assembly requires no maintenance.

Pneumatic Glide System 2000

A handful of components are all that is required to manufacture Pneumatic Glide System 2000. Various manufacturers pneumatic cylinders, conforming to ISO 6432 or Cetop RP52P with 16, 20 or 25 mm bores and strokes to 300 mm can be used.

Stroke Length: 25 - 300 mm
