Product Information for Back-Lit Conveyor
mk North America back-lit conveyors are used to provide a greater contrast between the product and the conveyor belt. These are typically used in vision inspection applications – both manual and machine controlled. A light panel is mounted into the frame of our GUF-P 2000 series conveyor and emits light through a translucent belt.
mk North America back-lit conveyors feature a 5400 Kelvin color collected illumination source. Natural daylight is at 6000 Kelvin. Practical experience and controlled experimentation has suggested that a light source with a correlated color temperature of 5000 Kelvin (or better) would maintain the necessary white appearance of the illuminated surface under the broadest possible range of conditions.

- Compatible with our standard side rails and stands and other conveyor accessories
- Conveyor lengths from 550 mm
- Standard conveyor widths of 200, 250, 300, 400 and 500 mm
- There is a static-dissapative-polycarbonate cover over the light box, to dramatically reduce the amount of static emitted
- LED and fluorescent light boxes are available
- Light boxes are powered by 12VDC, and a 110 VAC adaptor is included
- The entire light box can easily be removed from the frame for maintenance or replacement.
- The On/Off Switch is integrated into the side of the conveyor frame for ease of use
